Great hosts, very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There was a lovely choice for breakfast and all that we ate was delicious. The house is very homely, comfortable and extremely well maintained.

Second time at this guest house and nothing has changed. JJ was full of info and really friendly. Marie very welcoming on arrival. The entire place is spotless.

Very friendly welcome and lovely rooms. The B&B is near a lively row of restaurants along Harbour Road. Portsteward's strand is somewhat further away, but we were interesting in touring the larger area by car anyway. The management offered good suggestions for the area. Easy to find and reasonably simple on-street parking.

My family and I had a most enjoyable stay at the Cul Erg. JJ and Marie were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They arranged a room for us so we were all together and JJ had lots of good advice on what to do in the area and things to do with our 2 girls. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower. The breakfasts were superb. The location is great and Portstewart and surrounds are a magical place to visit.

Our holiday to N.I. has been a great success all round and we shall definitely return and advise our friends to do so also.
The surrounding scenery is well worth taking the time to appreciate. Don't miss the Giant's Causeway and the Famine Village in County Donegal. If you want a peaceful haven to relax and read a book search out Ballintoy Harbour, it is idillic. All of the people of Ireland whom we met, were delightful, so friendly and helpful, it made our view of the country very positive.

Our party of four stayed in one double and one twin room - both spacious, clean and well decorated. We had a good breakfast, with plenty of choices. Service was friendly and efficient. Would go back.

Spent a Saturday night at Cul Erg. Just a quick stop but would strongly recommend. Room spaciious, newly decorated and bathroom looked to be brand new. Excellent shower. Twin room on ground floor at front with nice big windows. Nice to have rooms on ground floor. JJ was very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat on Sat. night. Sunday breakfast very good.

My wife and I have just spent two nights at Marie and JJ (the owners) at Cul-Erg. Both Marie and JJ are very pleasant, warm and friendly; and both go out of their way to help with anything you may need.
The B&B is very clean, well maintained, with high a standard funature and furnashings. The thing that stood out to my wife and I was the personal touches (too many to enumerate) that Marrie made to the room that made us feel welcome and valued.
We think this is the best B&B we have stayed in thus far.

This is now our third time staying in this excellent B&B. Everything about it is great. From the friendly, relaxed owners to exceptionally clean and tidy rooms. Breakfast is devine and always served with a smile.
It's also a big plus point for us that we can park the car and relax for a few days and be able to walk out the door and be within easy reach of bars, cafes and restaurants.
The fact that we return to this place each time speaks volumes. We couldn't ask for better.

Situated just a short stroll from the Promenade in Portstewart, this excellent B&B is an ideal base for a stay on the North Coast. I have just had a short 3 night stay there, and was very impressed indeed.

This B&B is amazing. We so enjoyed the hospitality shown by JJ and Marie. It is so well situated and close to all amenities. The B&B is exceptionally well maintained, comfortable, clean and with such friendly hosts, what else could you ask for! Breakfasts, I can only describe them as so good I can't wait for my next visit. The choice was excellent. Could Highly recommend Cul-Erg.

We spent two nights at Cul Erg in early June. We arrived late on the first evening and were warmly greeted by Marie and JJ. The rooms were lovely and very clean. There was a nice selection on the breakfast menu .. I really enjoyed the porridge! Both JJ and Marie were very helpful offering suggestions for sites to see in the area. We spent some time in the lounge chatting with other guests.. it felt like we were at home! Thanks Marie and JJ for helping to make our stay in Portstewart memorable .. we look forward to next time!

We have just returned from spending a very enjoyable week in N Ireland. The last few days we spent at the North Coast and staying at Cul-Erg was definitely the highlight of our trip. This B&B is a 'gem'. It is so close to all the local attractions and a just a few minutes walk from the village. The house is spotlessly clean, modern but most importantly you are made to feel so welcome by JJ and Marie. Breakfasts are delicious with a lovely choice from a menu and a breakast bar! Cul-Erg is ahead of any hotel for service, friendliness and first class food. We can't wait until we return.

Thank-you so much for your hospitality. Our room was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious and doing our laundry for us was more than we could have asked for. We wish you all the best in your successful business and may God bless your generosity.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Cul-Erg. This B&B is superb in every way. First-class accommodation at great rates. Marie and JJ are so helpful and genuine with their ideas and ensuring that your stay is as memorable as possible.
We arrived on a very cold night to the warm welcome of an open fire and spent most of the evening relaxing in front of it.
Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with a great choice on the menu.
I can highly recommend as a place to stay whilst visiting the beautiful surrounding area.

What a wonderful find on a very cold, wintry night in the beautiful resort of Portstewart. We were welcomed with a blazing fire, a 'large' pot of coffee and scones. It was awesome! so much so we found it difficult to venture out again.
A beautiful, welcoming B&B, we can't wait to return.
