We had a wonderful stay at Cul‑Erg House. JJ was fantastic — welcoming from the moment we arrived and genuinely made us feel at home throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with several great options to choose from, and they kept the coffee flowing, which we really appreciated. It was a comfortable, friendly place to stay, and JJ’s hospitality truly stood out.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The only small thing we noticed was the shower’s instant hot‑water unit. It worked wonderfully and gave us hot water right away, but the system itself was a bit louder than we’re used to. Not a major issue at all, just something that stood out during an otherwise lovely stay.

Spotlessly clean room and food amazing, We stay here every year for the mini show and it never disappoints , just round the corner from Portstewart Promenade and good craic from JJ will be back again next year

Excellent hosts who make the B & B feel like home from home. Very helpful and attentive and so personable. Rooms immaculate and very comfortable. Location great and central to everything. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious. I stay here every time I return to the North Coast.

My wife and I really enjoyed the friendliness of JJ, Marie and James. It felt like a home from home. The food was excellent, the room was very comfortable, the hospitality was great and the craic was good. Very many thanks for a very enjoyable long weekend.

The room was spotless! Individual lamps and sockets beside all beds. The dressing room was amazing! Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious😋

Finding a parking spot is difficult and the 4pm check in is too late.

The friendliness of JJ the owner and his willingness to share lots of tips about the area. The breakfasts were exceptional and served as opposed to a self service option. Lovely change!

Location, location, location. The owners we super friendly and made sure their guests felt right at home. They couldn’t have been nicer. We really enjoyed our stay there This B&B dsrves all its 5 Stars ratings!

Nothing it was pleasant in every way. We were lucky to find such a nice play to stay in Portstewart. A must stay!

The location was very close to town and driving to othe activities. Owner made many recommendations for places to go and when/how to avoid the crowds.

I was impressed by the friendly welcome 🙏 which made me feel like a truly valued customer. The bedroom was well appointed and the breakfast was excellent, especially the locally smoked salmon!! Top notch.
