Excellent customer service from JJ, Marie and James, both friendly and professional. Superb location, very close to the coast and within easy, flat walking distance of the centre and facilities. Ours was a comfortable, decent sized room, with a sideways view of the water, via the bay window, out towards Jura. Breakfast was impressive, a very well cooked and presented range of locally sourced food, to suit every palette. Easy to log on to free WiFi, saving on our data allowance. We also used the private kitchen facility to prepare and cook our own evening meals, as an alternative to eating out every night.

Very comfortable room; only a 2 min walk to the Prom and an excellent ‘base’ for visiting this part of the NW coast; delicious breakfasts and very helpful, friendly hosts. Without doubt, we look forward to staying again.

Accommodation was excellent. Lovely room, separate dressing area, great bathroom. Tea/coffee facilities in the room really appreciated. Some nice touches too - a jar of cookies, which my son really enjoyed. Also, lots of bottled water available in the room and more outside in the hallway. Separate kitchen downstairs for residents where you could avail of fridge and a cooker should you need to. More chilled bottled water in the fridge for residents too, which was great to have in the warm weather. A wide variety of choice in the morning for breakfast - thought had definitely been put into the menu - food was sourced locally and of a high quality. Very good sized portions as well and no shortage of tea or coffee! JJ the host could not have done enough for you - making sure your stay was comfortable and always had time to talk to guests. Even gave us a lift to a local restaurant one evening. Would definitely return and have already recommended to friends and family.

It was very near to the sea. Everything was spotless and clean. And room offered everything you need.

Would highly recommend a stay at Cul-Erg . It’s in an excellent location in Portstewart with easy access to the promenade . Our room was spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed . We enjoyed a lovely home cooked breakfast . Marie and JJ were excellent hosts . Can’t wait to visit again .

Everything! A perfectly appointed B and B, minutes away from the Portstewart promenade and seafront. Bus stop opposite the property with transport to local landmarks. Rooms, spotlessly clean, breakfast choice superb. An outside courtyard area in the event of outdoor dining. There is also a kitchen where guests can keep their own provisions or use to cook. All this is made possible by the hosts JJ, his wife Marie and their son James. Service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. We loved staying here. It is a credit to them.
