The Cul-Erg is a wonderful B&B. It is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is always delicious. But it is JJ and Marie and James that made our experience so special. JJ is a great host going out of his way to give us rides to restaurants in the rain! We also met so many people from all over the world in the quaint breakfast room. We stayed at Cul-Erg in 2019 and brought our friends here this year to experience the wonderful B&B and the surrounding area. I hope we have the opportunity to return.

This place is phenomenal. I can't recommend it enough. JJ and Marie are lovely people, the room was fantastic, the food was delicious, everything was perfect. JJ and Marie make it so welcoming and lovely, and the breakfast area is so pleasant too.

We arrived around 1pm and discovered they had a coffee shop, which was a welcome we liked as our journey took longer than it should have done due to roadworks etc. We had lunch and sat outside to eat. Everything tasted so good served on lovely crockery by smiling staff. The lemon meringue cake was a slice of heaven! Our room was ready by 3.30pm and it was another wonderful surprise - due to its great size and layout. Lots of storage on offer. Bedding and towels were luxurious brands. Lovely supply of toiletries and teas etc. Owner JJ showed us a kitchen below us which we could use and take cold water from the fridge as and when we needed. This was shaping up to be more than your normal B&B!! After our evening in Portstewart, we had a very quiet and comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was of an equally high standard as our lunch was. All in all, we absolutely loved it all. Hardworking staff, great size rooms and totally tasty food.

Great place to stay for a few days, close to the North West 200 circuit and the Promenade. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing too much trouble. Good breakfast and superb service.

JJ, Marie, and all those that work there great. Room, location and breakfast were fantastic (highly recommend the granola to start followed by full breakfast). Couldn't fault it, great place.

Very well located for exploring the North Coast of Antrim. Extremely welcoming hosts, JJ and Marie. Very comfortable. Variety and quality of food at breakfast were excellent. Fresh, chilled, still water available at all times. Guests had the use of a kitchen, a sitting room and a small outside seating area. These were lovely touches even though we did not have the time to make use of any of them!

Very comfortable bed and I slept much better than I usually do . The accommodation was perfect. JJ and Marie made us feel more than welcome and the breakfast was delicious with loads of choice . I’m looking forward to staying at Cul Erg again .

Clean and very comfortable traditional B+B with a warm and comfortable en-suite bedroom with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, a lovely choice served by JJ in the bright cafe/breakfast room. Great location for the town, shops and restaurants all easily walkable. Extra treat that the B+B is a short walk to The Herring Pond for those who love a dip in the sea.

I was delighted with my choice of B+B for our break. Exactly what I was looking for, comfortable accommodation, a great breakfast hosted by a local family . Great to meet you JJ and Maria .
