JJ and Marie both have having obtained the accredited world host certificate and Marie being a qualified chef, this is more than a job for JJ, Marie & James, it is a passion and their idea of the perfect getaway manifests itself in great detail throughout their guests stay.
At Cul-Erg we are very aware of the benefits of drinking water for our overall health. For this reason we offer Hydrogen Rich Kangen water to our guests. Kangen water is filtered water that produces ionized alkaline and acidic water through electrolysis.
Staying within this vibrant atmosphere, Marie in the spirit of simplicity and goodness caters for all of her guest’s dietary needs. Gathering her ingredients daily, she serves up both a continental style buffet breakfast, consisting of, homemade breads, fresh natural yoghurts, cereals, freshly prepared seasonal fruit salad, along with a selection of Hot dishes straight from the oven seasoned with her home grown herbs whose aroma fills the courtyard adjacent to the spacious dining room. If the weather lends itself, the fragrant surroundings of the courtyard mixed with the salt air from the Atlantic make it the perfect location for a post breakfast coffee whilst persuing the morning papers, or planning your next adventure.

Our passion for providing an excellent customer service combined with our love of cooking has influenced us in expanding the services we offer at Cul-Erg house. On re-opening the business in 2021 we are delighted to be able to offer guests the opportunity now to dine with us during the day.
‘The Kitchen’ @ Cul-Erg will be open after Breakfast until 4pm offering snacks, lunches as well as Morning / Afternoon Tea & Coffee with a selection of scones and patisserie goods. All our produce will be locally sourced, homemade with a selection of hot dishes made to order.
